When: Saturday, December 10th

Time: 2:00-3:00

Where: We are meeting in the food court on the North side. There is a hallway between a jewelry store and burger king that the girls will be ghanging in. We will have our blue Little Theatre sign in front of that doorway.

Dress:

Black Leotard, pink tights and bring both shoes.

Jazz Dancer: Black leotard, black jazz pants, black socks, jazz shoes.

Hair should be up in a bun and a little lipstick would be great. Please wear appropriate clothes over you dance attire.

Please bring anyone you want to come watch you perform.

Competitive Class tryouts AUGUST 6th

Reminder to everyone that the competitive class tryouts are this Saturday, August 6th at the Ken Caryl studio.

Both the auditions and the practices are held at the Ken Caryl studio. The dancers may wear whatever they want to audition in. If they are wearing dance shorts please wear tights underneath. Warm-ups are required for the
first part of class to ensure proper stretching and conditioning. We want to encourage all dancers
to audition and the results will be out Saturday afternoon.

This is a great opportunity for dancers to get experience with the audition process and to push themselves in dance at a new level.

The audition times are as follows:

10-11 in Studio 1: Senior Competitive 13-16
10-11 in Studio 2: Jr. Competitive 10-12

11-12 in Studio 1: Elites 17and up
11-12 Studio 2: Competitive POMS

All auditions are closed.

Classes will begin the following week August 13th.

Princess Camp was a BLAST!

Princess camp was such a blast for all of the little dancers! We learned lots of different styles of dance and worked on many princess crafts. Thank you for such a great time and we hope to see your little princess again next summer.

Summer Princess Camp!

This is a week long dance camp for your little princess! The camp is Monday through Friday from 9:30-12:00 and every day focuses on a different subject. There are a total of three different princess camps this summer at three different locations. Each camp will consist of the same choreography, crafts, fun, and teacher. All snacks and crafts are included in the camp fee.

Footloose!

Marie and Jenn are two Little Theatre dancers who are are soon going to be on stage performing Footloose at Dakota Ridge High school. Both of these girls grew up dancing at the Ken Caryl studio.

Marie has danced at Little Theatre for 12 years and is a senior this year and she will be a student at CU Boulder next year. This will be her first musical. Jenn is a junior and is looking forward to her senior year. Jenn has been in Beauty and the Beast, West Side Story, Sweeny Todd, and of course Footloose. Jenn and Marie both wanted to be in this vibrant and fantastic musical because they love dancing, performing, and theatre is a great way for them to express themselves. The one thing they love the most about the musical is being part of such a talented cast.
